The primary purpose of the Quality Assurance & Records Manager position is to ensure that records of clients in the Foster Care, residential and substance abuse programs are in compliance with the TN Department of Children’s Services issuances as well as State and Federal licensing requirements, laws, and other regulatory and legal mandates.  Prepare and submit required agency and regulatory reports in an accurate and timely manner.
 
 
Job Duties include:

  • Responsible for ensuring that records of clients in the Foster Care, residential and substance abuse programs are in compliance with the TN Department of Children’s Services issuances as well as State and Federal licensing requirements, laws, and other regulatory and legal mandates. This will include:
     
  • Conduct weekly and monthly compliance checks and updates for all case managers and therapists
  • Issue compliance alerts and reminders to agency staff to convey all issues and activities pertinent to each assigned client
  • Ensure that residential day treatment staff are in compliance with regulations
  • Member of the implementation team and oversight for the Electronic Chart Management.
  • Compile information to be discussed in monthly PQI meetings.
  • Oversee the compliance, notifications and tracking of all serious incident reports (SIRs).
  • Serve as liaison between FCA and DCS Regional Resource units.
  • Responsible for setting up and closing client charts and for receiving intakes.
  • Responsible for collecting and reviewing for accuracy/content the monthly progress reports of clients and for sending reports to DCS via TFACTS.
  • Prepare and submit monthly compliance reports in a timely manner.
  • All paperwork submitted by agency staff will be reviewed for quality assurance.
  • Maintain client allowance records, following DCS guidance as provided in DCS Core Standards.
 
Job Qualifications:
 
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology or related field from an accredited school of social work or related degree, a minimum of three (3) years of practice experience, and the ability to work comfortably and satisfactorily within the framework of the established policies of the agency.

 
 
Physical Requirements:
  • (BFOQ) Ability to participate in all facets of TCI restraint training as required
  • Ability to communicate clearly in English both written and verbal
  • Good visual & audio capabilities
  • Sit or stand for extended periods
  • Bend, stoop, and/or squat
  • PC/Keyboarding abilities
  • Lift up to 40 pounds
  • Work extended hours as needed (>40 per week)

Candidates must successfully pass an extensive pre-employment background check, including fingerprinting, TB test & drug screening.
