Assistant Program Manager

The Florence Crittenton Agency is seeking an Assistant Program Manager for the Youth Summit of Recovery Residential Program.  This is an inpatient program providing intensive evidence-based alcohol and drug treatment for adolescent males and females, ages 13-18.  The Assistant Program Manager is responsible for the coordination of the A&D residential services, and providing professional development for staff on the units.  The position provides quality youth care, and close intensive supervision of staff and adolescent clients in a residential setting.  In addition, this position is responsible for providing and overseeing a range of residential assessments, treatment planning, support groups, individual and family therapy, skills training, and lectures for the educational purpose of the enhanced substance abuse program.  This position will oversee the tracking and reporting of adolescent's treatment progress and will provide appropriate staff leadership.  The Assistant Program Manager will facilitate referrals and oversee admissions to the unit, and manage multiple priorities and program components. This is a 2nd shift including rotational weekend position, as-needed to meet staffing requirements.

Job Qualifications include: Bachelor's degree in social services, or related field.  At least 2 years of related experience; Prior supervisory experience; Knowledge and experience with adolescents with alcohol and drug issues, as well as dual diagnosis. 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Ability to participate in Handle with Care restraint training as required (BFOQ)
  • Ability to verbally communicate clearly in English
  • Sitting or standing for extended periods
  • Bending, stooping, squatting
  • PC/Keyboarding abilities
  • Lift up to 40 pounds
  • Work extended hours as needed (>40 per week)
